Our Mission:
The West Central Ohio Regional Healthcare Alliance, Ltd. (WCORHA) is a
network of community hospitals with a shared vision of working
together to promote collaboration in areas that will improve the
quality and cost effectiveness of healthcare services for the member's
respective communities and the West Central Ohio Region.
Organizational Structure:
WCORHA is an Ohio Limited Liability Company (LLC). Each member has one
equal vote, and is represented by the member's Chief Executive
Officer. In addition, each member has the ability to choose which
initiatives they will/will not participate. Initiatives are funded by
contributions by member hospitals (based on operating expenses), and
the revenue generations of joint programs.
Membership:
Membership fees are divided, based on a percentage of operating
expenses at each individual hospital. In 1994, membership
contributions accounted for 100% of WCORHA income, however, this
amount has continued to decline and now accounts for less than 15% of
WCORHA income. For membership information, Robin Johnson, Executive
Director of WCORHA, can be reached at 419-226-9085.
WCORHA
Pillars:
WCORHA focuses on four primary goals to assist members with the
improvement of their operations: group purchasing, education, shared
services and survival. Through the accomplishment of these goals, the
organization hopes to improve the quality and cost effectiveness of
healthcare services provided to the member's respective communities .
