 The Cancer Network of West Central Ohio, a
not-for-profit organization, was developed by WCORHA in 2002. The
purpose of the organization is to regionalize cancer services so that
patients throughout the region can access radiation therapy and
medical oncology services without driving long distances. Two
free-standing cancer treatment centers are under construction, slated
to be completed by February 2004. The Grand Lake Regional Cancer
Center is located in Celina, Ohio and the High Point Regional Cancer
Center is located in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Services to be provided at
both centers include radiation therapy, chemotherapy, health
screenings, access to a resource library and patient support services,
such as on-site laboratory services, pastoral care, nutritional
counseling and hospice care referrals.
